ABOUT THE WRITER

When it comes to writing, Dee-Jay started by writing his own poetry often reflecting on his emotional state and views on the world.

Dee-Jay went on to study his degree which focused on acting but with insight and practise into the world of creating theatre (in which he has devised multiple projects throughout his time training) and writing for screen .

​

Graduating from his degree, he has a big interest in creating solo theatre and projects that are quirky and different and creative, as well as projects that have underlying messages. 

He particularly likes to represent queer men and welsh people having a big issue with heteronormative culture being the standard. through his training, he has discovered comedic story telling that gives a voice to other queer welsh men and he aims to expand on this as well as creating his honest point of view as seen in his work that is on this website ​
